P-Edu International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies
Peer-Review Policy

P-Edu International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (P-EIJMS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly quality, integrity, and transparency through a rigorous and unbiased peer review process. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to peer review to ensure originality, academic merit, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Type of Peer Review

P-EIJMS follows a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process. This approach ensures impartial evaluation and minimizes potential bias.

Peer Review Process

The peer review process at P-EIJMS involves the following stages:

1. Initial Editorial Screening: Upon submission, manuscripts are assessed by the Editorial Office to ensure compliance with the journal’s aims and scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Manuscripts failing to meet these criteria may be returned to authors or declined at this stage.

2. Assignment to Reviewers: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area.

3. Reviewer Evaluation: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific quality, clarity, relevance, methodology, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field. Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations.

4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Editor-in-Chief or handling editor makes one of the following decisions:

o   Accept without revision

o   Accept with minor revisions

o   Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

o   Reject

5. Revision and Re-evaluation: Authors are required to address reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response. Revised manuscripts may be sent for further review if necessary.

6. Final Decision: The final decision on acceptance or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account reviewer recommendations and editorial judgment.

Review Timeline

• Initial editorial decision: Typically within 1–2 weeks

• Peer review duration: Approximately 3–6 weeks

• Final decision: Dependent on the extent of revisions required

The journal strives to maintain a fair and timely review process without compromising quality.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts and associated review materials are treated as confidential. Reviewers must not disclose any information related to the manuscript or use unpublished material for personal advantage.

Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers and editors must declare any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their evaluation of a manuscript. In such cases, alternative reviewers or editors will be assigned to ensure impartiality.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

• Provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews

• Evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit

• Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors

• Report any suspected ethical concerns to the editors

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions at P-EIJMS are made independently and are not influenced by the journal’s management, publisher, or financial considerations.

Ethical Oversight

The peer review process is conducted in accordance with internationally accepted publication ethics standards. Any suspected misconduct identified during the review process is handled following established ethical guidelines.
