Waiver and Discounts Policy
P-Edu International Journal of
Multidisciplinary Studies (P-EIJMS) is committed to promoting inclusive and
equitable scholarly publishing. To support researchers who may face financial
constraints, the journal follows a transparent and case-based waiver and
discount policy for Article Processing Charges (APCs), where applicable.
Eligibility for Waivers and Discounts
Group A: Authors from Low-Income Regions
Authors based in low-income or
resource-constrained regions may be considered for a partial waiver of APCs,
subject to editorial evaluation.
Group B: Financial Hardship Cases
Authors who are unable to meet
APC requirements due to limited institutional or personal funding may apply for
a partial waiver. Such requests should be supported by appropriate
documentation (e.g., a signed letter from the Head of the Institution or an
equivalent authority). The decision to grant a waiver is based on the validity
of the supporting information and is made at the discretion of the journal.
Group C: Editorial and Reviewer Contribution
Editors and reviewers who have made a substantial contribution to the journal’s peer-review process within a calendar year may be eligible for a partial discount on APCs, subject to editorial approval.
Application Procedure
- Requests for waivers or discounts must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
- Requests made during the review process or after acceptance will not be considered.
- All waiver and discount requests are evaluated independently of editorial decisions, and approval is not guaranteed.
